new journal page

sorry the scan is nicht so gut, but here is the last entry in the latest nature journal I have... first time realy goin to town with water color crayons.... it was fun... the scene is totally outta my head but reminds me of virginia where I'm from.... also just wanted to say I learned some more new things from the tips for new bloggers site I told you about last post.... you guys gotta check it if you really want somthing different for your blog...

I don't know about you guys but I have a new found love for journaling...I love making my own now too! so easy.... anyways... I'm showing a few new pages in a journal that I took apart and put back together with new paper , better paper for painting and journaling on.... also wanted to show a video of a really cool artist... suzi blu ... check it out and go find her other youtube videos... they're great inspiration

So I was checking out some favorite blogs and I went over to crazyart girl's blog, and she was doin Zentangle's.... I totally remember doing these growing up! or somthing simular.... so anyways... the first pic is my first shakey attempt to remember.... the second one I got the hang of it.... don't you think?

only a little artfull

Well I don't consider myself a writer... it's just so hard to think of somthing to write! I guess you can do whatever you really want with art journals though, and that's part of the attraction for me I think. Did anyone else have a nice weekend? The weather has been awsome here in Germany! At least in our little neck of the woods.... I do know its colder in Norway than here right now... it's almost been shorts weather here! Must be an indian summer... well I've got some cool canvas' I've been working on and I'll show them soon enough... been having fun with paints lately...

sacred life and creatvitiy

well obviously I did this journal entry yesterday... this is in that really cool leather journal I was telling you about.... I just love that thing.... anyways wednesday are kinda crazy for us because we have homeschooling all morning then we gotta get ready for a 20 min drive to my sons tai kwon do class , then we have church on wednesday nights.... well yesterday I just KNEW I would have time in the car, waiting between class and church, to sketch... .and well here is my sharpie marker flower... this page is still not done... but I really like to make at least one nice big thing on a page and work on it more later.... :) so for my sacred life....... running around and waiting? hurry up and wait? busy busy busy? or is it taking the time to chill out and enjoy a break .......
