here is my gothic arch interpretation of Gothic Arch Challenge Blog theme of hands.... i love themes with hands... this is one of my favorite images of hands as well.. i've used this before in a chunky book swap i did a couple years ago....

GA- party!!!

first off... happy birthday dymphiem!!! I know it's been awhile..... but here is my take on the new theme at Gothic Arch Challenge Site .... like I said sorry it's been awhile... we had a surprise visit from the inlaws , who only stayed for three days.... then I smashed my little girl's thumb in the door! I feel so horrible about it! I'm such a clumsy mom! It's not broken but STILL! anyways... hope all is well out in blog land!

Gothic Arch- Flowers

i went about this a little differently this time... but this is my favorite flower of all... it doesnt look like it cause I messed with it a little digitally, but this is a black tulip... tulips are my favorite and black ones are by far the most awsome! you have to get one or take a pic when you see one... beautiful... the same poem is on this piece as in my last post.... http://gothicarches.wordpress.com/ that's where you go to participate....

the new theme challenge for Gothic Arch is Vacations.... this one was fun I did a water color background and just added a few collage elements....

gothic arch- autumn

oooooo...great theme.... I loved doin this one.... This is my new favorite time of year because the sun waits a little longer till it comes up here in Germany and so the kids sleep just a little longer.... :) normally summer is my favorite... but here is my arch for the Gothic Arch challenge! Not sure what stamp that is... the rest is bits and pieces...some from a blog candy contest i won!

GOLD

Well I'm feeling much better, although I do still sound like a frog... and now my baby boy has a cold.... although it could be attributed to teething .... Anyways here is my contribution to the new Gothic Arch Challenge - GOLD! I changed this one a million times but finally got the gold digger to come out.... :) I've used stamping ink through punchinella for the background.... a gold gel pen on the antique book page.... a gold wine label... and lots of other little gold things.... this was a great theme!

Well it's that time again already! I think the Gothic Arch challenge is my new favorite... it's been interesting coming up with new ways to play up the arch shape... I did a crayon resist background for this little pcture of kids holding hands which is so cute. Other than than the swiss army watch face , all other embellishments are paint! Very simple.... I really liked these colors together too............

Gothic Arch- MOON

I really love this new challenge site its really helped me think a little bit more outside the box... what can fit inside this gothic arch shape? well I really loved this theme of the MOON ... I'm teaching my little girl about the letter M this week and and about the Moon so temporarily I've been studying about it more it lately.... anyways this is my entry. I'm loving this funky star material I aquired somehow....

Gothic Arch Challenge

So I read about this site from suzan over at http://thriftycollageartist.blogspot.com/ and I've already got three challenge sites I participate in , why not one more? , is what I'm thinking.... http://www.gothicarches.blogspot.com/ thats where you go ... you could click on the little avatar on the right but my computer knowledge is not the best so I could only put up the picture... anyways... this is my submission and I did actually have time today during nap time ... the house was clean and I put a load of laundry in and I was all done with homeschooling for the day so I said "hey lets get crafty" .... the theme was "school" .... I had fun with it! Oh I changed my blog a bit... its an artist thing right? Just can't leave anything alone... :)
