This is somthing I worked on late last night... and below is the altered book cover I recieved.....jpg)
My pink piece is not exactly done but it's close.... I don't really like pink but lately it's creeping in here and there. Pink converse, pink purses, pink butterflies drawn by my little girl smiley, and seemingly more and more into my art.... I might have an aversion because I always think of Pepto Bismol when I think of pink... there's just not a lot of things to associate to pink , I think. :) I also wanted to share about some swaps... I did the tussie mussie swap and melissa from http://thegardenofpinkshadows.typepad.com/my_weblog/ was my swap partner... She made such a beautiful tussie! I don't have my camera to take pics right now so you'll just have to wonder.... but anyways, I used some of the goodies that melissa sent ,in the PINK piece..... I wanted to make that for a friend of mine and send it off really soon... and also in one of my yahoo groups I joined in on an altered-vintage-book cover swap... that one was for beginers and I'm not showing the best scan of what I got but I was lucky enough to get the piece that Linda from http://craftygallinda.wordpress.com/ made!

I like this ... the buttons are a great addition. I'm a fan of certain shades of pink in flowers. I like the crocheted flower in this piece.
The pink is great, Maybe it needs alittle glitter? lol!
I love pink, and your card is just beautiful! I like the way you have combined it with red. (I think that pink goes with anything...)
